HMC Summer Grant 2017 – ????????
Trip proposals will be due at the end of February. Trip proposals should include (i) a list of HMC members and alumni who are committed to going if the trip gets funded, (ii) a description of the approach, camping, and permitting, (iii) a list of potential objectives, ideally including objectives that will be very doable for all members of the trip, (iv) specific dates for the trip, and (v) a budget including group and individual expenses and an estimate of how much the trip will cost each participant after grant funding (approximately $2000).

HMC Summer Grant 2015 – North Cascades
A larger team returned to the North Cascades for a second year in a row. Benefitting from favorable conditions, the team summited Eldorado, Silver Star, Rainier, and Shuksan (amongst other objectives) and gained value glacier and alpine experience.
HMC Summer Grant 2015 – Other Trips
A group of HMC alumni successfully summited Denali. Another group of active members and alumni met up in the Alps. And the club ran a trad climbing camp in the Gunks at the end of the summer that saw several members have their first trad leads.
HMC Summer Grant 2014 – North Cascades
A couple HMC-ers and alumni met in the North Cascades for some Alpine climbing, practicing and honing their glacier and alpine trad skills.
HMC Summer Grant 2013 – Bugaboos
A team of Harvard Mountaineers went to the Bugs for alpine trad climbing.
HMC Summer Grant 2012 – Wind River & Denali
Two expeditions were launched this year. A large team from the club went to the Wind River range again to practice alpine skills, while a smaller group went to Alaska to climb Denali, the clubs first ascent of a “big mountain” in several years
HMC Summer Grant 2011 – Selkirk Mountains
A team of Harvard mountaineers returned to the Selkirk mountains of British Colombia, where the club had pioneered routes years before on the remote glacier-hung peaks.
HMC Summer Grant 2010 – Mt. Rainier/Adams
An expedition to Mt. Rainier was turned around by an extended period of bad weather, but the team of intrepid HMCers summited Mt. Adams instead

Harvard Borkoldoy Expedition 2005
