The HMC cabin caretaker for the 2009-2010 winter season is Rich Palatino who hails from Springfield, MA. This not-long-ago IT guy decided to go all out when he fell in love with skiing and mountaineering, and is now pursuing his passions with a fabulous amount of energy. He boasts excellent skill and style in both mountain ascent and descent. On top of that he's an exceedingly kind and easy-going individual--bringing more warmth to the old cabin than any wood stove ever could. He also has a passion for all kinds of dancing and partnered in establishing The Dance Collaberative. Rich is sure to make your stay at the cabin enjoyable, so get up there and get to know the guy. You're sure to have as much fun in the cabin as you'll have on the mountain.
