Laura Fox is a research assistant in Cognitive Psychology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She has backpacked throughout New England and thru-hiked the 2,168 mile Appalachian Trail in 2001. Since then, she has taken up technical climbing and demonstrated her prowess on New England's classic climbs and on the alpine rock of Grand Teton National Park. She is also a certified Wilderness First Responder. Laura is an accomplished photographer and looks forward to the unique photographic opportunities the relatively unexplored Borkoldoy Range will offer.
