Bjarne Holmes

Dr. Bjarne M. Holmes is an Instructor of Psychology at Harvard Medical School and has been climbing since 1994. He was an organizer of Scania Climbing Club's Greenland Expedition 1997, where he attempted to become the first Swede to summit Mt. Ketil in the Tasermuit Fjord (Catalans Route, A3, VI+, 34 pitches, (1450m, 5000'). He also co-organized the 1999 University of Massachusetts Alpamayo Expedition (5945m, 19,545') to the Cordillera Blanca of Peru and soloed Cotopaxi (5897m, 19,347'), Ecuador in 2001. He is an accomplished photographer who has presented several slideshows and has numerous published photos.
